this French company may have just come up with the next big thing in automotive hid headlight technology. Valeo SA has developed a system that seems to do the impossible. It's called the "BeamAtic Premium," and it allows drivers to operate their high-beams more often without affecting other motorists. If you haven't heard of Valeo SA before now, you're probably going to be hearing a lot about it in the future
 those hid lights typically need to be dimmed for oncoming traffic or when approaching another vehicle from behind. while still protecting other motorists from being blinded.
The technology so impressed the judges at the international Equip Auto automotive trade show in 2010 that Valeo SA walked away with top honours. one with HID lamps and another with car LED lights.so it probably wouldn't be too difficult to incorporate the Valeo SA system into existing wiring and software applications.
To develop the system for production, Valeo has turned to a Japanese firm, Ichikoh Industries, which is readying the hid lights for production in Japan later this month. They also hope to sell the system to the world's automotive manufacturers for use on production vehicles. the location of other vehicles on the road and automatically shields other drivers from the glare by selectively blocking certain shafts of light.
