One of the great things about the new Audi A8 is you will never change a auto led bulbs
We've seen hid headlights, car led lights and auto led bulbs, but we haven't seen a car that has all of them -- and none of the Thomas Edison incandescents.
The A8 is entirely lit, inside and out, by LEDs, the light-emitting diodes that
never burn out. Well, maybe never. Most likely not in our lifetimes.
Inside, there's an ability to change the shade of the lights to get them to glow
like candlelight. Outside, the lights just looks different. The headlights, for
instance, are made up of 76 separate beams.
If you see an Audi A8 in your rear-view mirror at night, it will look like it is
cruising along with daytime running lights, not headlights.
Audi officials say auto led bulbs looks better than halogens or
incandescent.
We're not sure we buy that line as much as we think its a tweak to let designers
go a little crazier, a change from boring old traditional headlights.
