Some cars, trucks and motorcycles come with Sealed Beam lights. That means that you can't change just the bulb, which is a real hassle. We found these housings, which are very easy to install, let you replace your factory lights with our housing which uses an H4 type bulb. This creates maximum flexibility in your bulb choices all the way to HID.
Sizes
We carry the most popular sizes in sealed beam replacement lenses so chances are we've got you covered. There are no guides for these applications though, so you have to do a little homework on your own. Sorry, no whining, here's what you do. Take a general measurement of the front lens of your current light then try and match it up with one of our sizes below. Since there's really only 4 basic sizes and 2 of them are round, it should be no problem.
Installation advice
Many vehicles that use sealed beam lights have four lights total (one set for low beams and one set for high beams). But an H4 bulb is a low and high beam all in one, so you must decide how you want your new system to run; all on or two at a time. Then you must connect these new lights to your old harness. One method would be to buy a couple of H4 connectors from an auto parts store and splice that into your old harness. This option is a tad messy, but really no big deal. If your car has only two headlights, then just buy a pair of lights and a pair of H4 bulbs and you are set.
As always, we reccomend HID applications instead of Halogen bulbs as they offer about 300%more light!
The system is easier to install than it sounds, and don't forget to order H4 bulbs! It is easy to install these lights and don't forget to order H4 bulbs!
