HID Headlamps system

Please carefully read the instructions first!

HID device step

Step 1: Let the engine cool for at least 10 minutes, to avoid the device is water tank and the engine burns;

Step 2: Remove the HID headlights, HID headlights and ballasts will be (Ballast) divided into two groups for devices by group;

Step 3: The headlight power connector, waterproof rubber cover and remove the old headlights;

Step 4: HID headlights installed in the headlight lamp on;

Step 5: Determine the correct installation of fixed headlights, headlight to prevent deformation of the base;

Step 6: Determine the waterproof rubber cover installed;

Step 7: Fixed ballast (Ballast) and tie the line group;

Step 8: Ballast (Ballast) group with the vehicle power supply input terminal with headlights;

Step 9: HID headlights wiring harness and ballast (Ballast) wiring harness connector;

Step 10: Check all equipment steps to determine the positive and negative unit is correct, you can turn on headlights;

Step 11: Check the height and headlight illumination distance, and make appropriate adjustments to avoid excessive glare;

Safety precautions (must read before use)

1, HID system will generate a high voltage (approx. 23KV), devices (Demolition) when full attention. For device operation, please check the product [ballast group (Ballast), headlights Group (Bulb Kit) state, such as wire injury, drooling, terminal damage to power lines leak, immediately abort the operation.

2, HID headlights with ballast (Ballast), link terminals, do not arbitrarily change. Because of lighting will produce high voltage, will cause the body leakage risk.

3, headlights (Headlight) or just turn off the lights when lit, do not touch your hands or skin, wash Do not directly touch the water. Due to headlights (Headlight) to high temperatures, may cause burns.

* Car wash near the front lamps may touch (Headlight) parts, the first fully cool before operating.

4, be sure to check before lighting axis (Beam axis) position is appropriate and, where appropriate adjustments. The system is brighter than normal halogen headlights because (Halogen bulb) large, such as the optical axis (Beam axis) does not regulate, or deliberately axis (Beam axis) up, may lead to an accident, be sure to check and adjust.

5, Do not look directly at the lights lit. So can cause eye pain or visual impairment, Do not close look into the light.

6, device, please note that (6.2 ~ 21V) and the positive and negative electrodes.

7, device HID to use the wiring group.

8, device, please pay special attention to the positive and negative power supply grounding electrode, such as the vehicle for special specifications, the positive electrode grounded, the ballast (Ballast) with body contact may produce flashover phenomenon, such vehicles need to add devices equipped with a diode of the wiring group, it will be dangerous.

9, when the device HID headlights:

1), note that the power cord is for the truck-mounted safety standards UL1015 (TEW, single-line) of the power cord.

2), UL1015, TEW, AWG24 or the diameter is too small, use the wiring group, so as not to damage electrical equipment, air waves.

10, device HID headlights, turn off all power, all the normal lighting in the unit is completed only after the power on, so as to avoid surges ballast (Ballast).

11, HID headlights car headlights and general lighting in different ways, when the switch is "ON", HID Ballast (Ballast) will automatically continue to light up continuously lighting up. If the light is turned on not immediately, please wait 2 minutes, the system will automatically light up. If you still can not light up, immediately turn the switch to the auto repair shop check.

12, do not light up at the same time start the engine, to protect and prolong the life of HID lamps.

13 To test the device before the HID lamp, use DC-12V battery test, in order to avoid non-standard specifications of the power supply damaged HID ballast (Ballast).

14, please pay special attention to the ballast (Ballast) and high voltage boxes, device location, please keep a distance, not close to the following locations, in order to avoid ballast (Ballast) HID lights off overheating, increasing the risk of driving at night:

1), spark plugs and spark plug circuits.

2), e-carburetor line.

3), water tank and engine heat.

4), choose a good location of the ventilation and heat dissipation.

5), avoid stagnant water, leakage position.

15, if the two HID lights start, there have delays, please swap HID lamp group, if the delay is still the same, the power system imbalance, please add the assembly line group.

Use Precautions:

1, parking (for example, traffic lights, etc.), do not frequently light on / off.

Repeated light on / off headlights would loss the electrode, resulting in shortened life expectancy or non-light system problems. [Note] Headlight Switch (Headlight switch) lights lights (on / off) of the interval is too short, sometimes not lighting.

2, the following is from the use or condition caused by the environment, not because of product defect.

1) cold weather (0 degrees Celsius) light slower than normal start-up time (1-2 seconds), not a failure.

3, when used in place is not lit, follow these simple steps to check.

1) as soon as possible the vehicle to a safe location;

2) the headlight switch (Headlight switch) to turn off the lights (off) state, over a few seconds after the light (on);

3) the situation is not improved after the operation, turn off all light switches (Lighting switches) (excluding hazard lights (Hazard) lights out about 10 to 20 minutes, then light.

* If the above checks returned to normal, said ballast (Ballast) in the microcomputer memory (CPU) adversely affected by engine heat. Continue with no problems. If the situation does not improve, or other problems occur, the vehicle as soon as possible to the nearest location with parking facilities, and equipment with the purchase or sale of stores to contact and seek help to solve the problem.

4, if found inconsistent with two headlights light up the time or only a single lamp is lit, the power imbalance that circuit system, please add the assembly line group.

5, summer, night hiking and long highway driving, the engine prone to overheating, if found headlights suddenly go out, do not panic! This phenomenon indicates HID Ballast (Ballast) improper installation caused by overheating of the location of the case, immediately turn off the headlights power, driving the car to the side of the road and after cooling, automatically return to normal, and go to adjust the device position auto repair shop .

6, the headlights of the phenomenon of rupture or leakage, the absolute prohibition of rain lights, to avoid danger.

7, the phenomenon can not be closed if found, said Please correct wiring errors.

8, the headlight switch is "ON", HID lights lit, if not immediately, do not frequently light on / off, patiently waiting for ballast (Ballast) CPU system will automatically light up, continue to light up. 1 to 5 minutes if there is no light, please check the auto repair shop, or cause ballast (Ballast) burned, the improper operation, not included in the product warranty.
